Producer/Writer/Director, Rod Gailes OBC studied under noted filmmakers, Raoul Peck and Spike Lee, before directing the award-winning, Twin Cousins. Other films include CAMOUFLAGE, 6 Things I Never Told You, controversial internet hit Earl’s Post Prison Playdate starring Pernell Walker (The Butler), Reverse Cowgirl, Knuckles, Soft Focus, and Blue Butterflies starring Stacey Dash.
OBC’s NY theatre work includes the musical COLORS: Dream Of the MASTA, as well as Disney Theatricals’ first workshop of The Lion King Jr.. His fine art photography collections include musings on Black Masculinity (A Private Moment and CLOUD NINE); and his fashion editorial, Black Americana: Island in the Sun, appearing in Black Italian Vogue.
